A Note from the Maker: The Spirit of "The Griffin"
"Every piece I create begins with a search for balance—between the precision of industrial machinery and the organic warmth of natural wood. This specific design, The Griffin, is the heart of my collection.
It is named in honor of a very special boy whose nature defined the word 'noble.' This clock face is a tribute to a spirit that was profoundly loving, gentle, and loyal. In mythology, the Griffin is a guardian and a creature of two worlds; in my workshop, it represents a legacy of devotion that I’ve tried to capture through craft.
I chose the 13-layer architecture to represent depth and resilience. Each layer is hand-stained and carefully assembled to ensure that while the 'engine' looks industrial, it carries a sense of warmth and character. When you hang The Griffin in your home or office, you aren’t just displaying a piece of art; you are sharing in a celebration of a loyal and gentle spirit.
My hope is that this piece brings the same sense of steadfast presence and beauty to your space that its namesake brought to mine."
